As a qualified Integrative Counsellor, I practice Humanistic Counselling, Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT to offer a unique and personalised approach for each client, dependant on their needs and making them the centre of the work undertaken.
I don't have your answers, but can help you find them by exploring, clarifying and untangling your thoughts and internal processing.
Our work together is collaborative, you choose your path, I'm by your side to stabilize and support you.
My foundation of person-centred training means, I believe the relationship we build together through trust, honesty, compassion, empathy and challenge, is the key to you finding the answers to your issues.
I volunteered with ARC in Wokingham and still do with No. 22 in Maidenhead, both are community counselling services that deal with a variety of client issues
Having experienced looking for a counsellor, I know first hand how daunting it can be to take that first step. I'm here for you, be brave, you are enough and deserve to be happy.
I offer single session, short-term and long-term work which is bespoke for each client.
My garden therapy room is perfect for being completely private, it is separate from my house. I can undertake in person, Zoom/Doxy video or telephone session in complete privacy.
My counselling space has much natural light and is very warm and cozy. The feeling of complete understanding around what and how it feels to be struggling, is accepted here.
Sometimes you need to be listened to and really heard. It's at times such as these that friends and family are unhelpful. We need to be supported but challenged in our way of thinking and perhaps find more self awareness.
It's a privilege to work with these individuals, to see their minds and actions change during the course of our work together.
Each client I work with remains with me long after sessions have finished.
